A high quality content project elaborated in collaboration with different institutions of Barcelona: Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA), Gracmon Group of the Barcelona University, Barcelona City Council and Barcelona City Services (B:SM).

Park Güell, the urbanization the industrialist Eusebi Güell entrusted the architect Antonio Gaudí, might be one of the most visited parks in the world. The monumental zone is a place which receives visitors from around the whole world and the UNESCO declared it World Heritage in 1984.

The park has three independent entrances and several points of interest. That's why the guide has been set up in a way that regardless of the chosen access, visitors can always see the whole tour and enjoy visiting the proposal prepared by the History Museum of Barcelona.

Focused on providing a guided tour of the park, the guide is intuitive and easy access to contents. All the information is adapted for proper display in smartphones and tablets of different sizes. This way the visitor can enjoy the advantages each format offers.

Park Güell is a reduced space with a big visitor influx, this is proven by the seven languages the app has been developed in. Because of this, one of the guide's objectives is to contribute improving the flow of visitors.

The park has informative panels with NFC and QR codes which adresses those who doesn't have the app to some web pages in the Internet which provide brief information about the point of interest in which they are located. At the same time, the guide can also be downloaded from those pages to get more information and better experience. The visitors who have the app have all the information in their hand and they don't need to read it from the panels. This way the panels are left free for other visitors.

In case of having the guide, when scanning the panel codes, the app shows the location in the park and the point of interest where the visitor is located.

The Park Güell app is a completely manageable audiovisual guide, designed to insert and modify all the information to offer the best service to the visitor. It is possible to modify or extend the information, create new routes, etc. Maps, images, texts, audios and videos are combined and managed through the content manager.
